The REDW Scholarship is now ACCEPTING applications for the Academic Year 2019 – 2020!
The REDW Scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate student who are enrolled members of a federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group or a state recognized tribe in the U.S. OR provide documentation of ancestry to possession of one-fourth degree Indian blood of a state or federally recognized tribe in Arizona or New Mexico. REDW is looking for full-time and degree-seeking college juniors and seniors and graduate students who hold a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher for one of the following fields of study:
- Undergraduate: Must be a full-time junior or senior who is pursing a degree in accounting, financial or related business field
- Graduate: Must be in a full-time master’s degree program pursing a master’s in business administration, master’s of taxation or master’s of accountancy
REDW encourages Native Americans to pursue a career in accounting and finance, increase the pool of top talent from which to recruit for the Firm’s Nation Tribal Services team, and identify Native American students interested in participating in the Firm’s Internship Program.
The REDW Scholarship is a merit based and a multi-year award. All applicants must apply complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
REDW encourages scholarship recipients to apply for paid REDW internships in either the Phoenix, AZ or Albuquerque, NM offices. Residency in either city is not required, however careful consideration will be given to those intern applications who can obtain housing in either location.
Recipients must be able to prove individual membership or descendency from a U.S. federally-recognized or U.S. state-recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group through submission of the AIGC Tribal Eligibility Certificate (TEC) . While Federal Pell Grant eligibility is not a requirement, students must prove financial need through submission of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the AIGC Financial Needs Form (FNF).
